The 1st Public Health Palliative Care Scientific Symposium was held at MUHAS UNIVERSITY on 7th October from 8:00 am to 6:00 am. The theme of the Congress was Healing Hearts and Communities carrying the sole goal of the Role of Palliative Care in leveraging the burden of NCDs.
The Guest of Honor was Hon. Dr. Fatma Mrisho, Permanent Secretary (PS)-Ministry of Health, Zanzibar.
The meeting was having two plenary sessions which are: Public Health Palliative Care Global and Foundation to Palliative Care.
- Plenary session one concerns Foundation to Palliative Care and the Panelist presented on the session were:

- Plenary session two concerns Public Health Palliative Care Global where the panelist presented on the session were:
