What We Do

Advocate for evaluation and sharing of various interventions on primary prevention and care for people with life threatening illnesses. The EAPCON shall gather information on multiple best practices merit by the community and advocate for evaluation by the academics, programs, and practices. On early basis, there will be sharing of the findings. The congress will receive articles for both oral and poster presentation. Also, there will be ongoing service delivery for the public one week prior to the congress. Priority will be given to marginalized groups for example seniors, people with disabilities, and cancer survivors.  Seven institution will take a lead to organize and chair for congress. During the turn, respective institute will get the opportunity to pronounce their mission motto

EAPCON focuses on the following.

  1. Role of technology and social media in PC
  2. Role of PC in leveraging burden of NCDs
  3. PC in community practice
  4. Education and research in PC

  1. PC education through media (start in July)
  2. Abstract submissions (For posters and Oral presentations)
  3. Psychosocial screening/therapy to delegates and wananchi – (will be done by clinicians from ORCI, MNH, CCP-Medicine, Kairuki, AGAKHAN, TANCDA, MUHASetc.)

  1. Introduction to PC, PEDIATRIC PC, PSYCHOSOCIAL ISSUES, ELDERLY PC ETC.
  2. The launching of the EAPCON and introduction of members
  3. Oral scientific presentations
  4. Posters presentation
