MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
In JAN 2021, Waoc managed to mobilize & train 6 staffs Incorporation with one of the road construction company from Tinde to Mwenda Kulima called KIKUNDI CHA WASHU (CONSTRUCTION COMPANY) & during their road campaign more than 80 young girls & adults were reached & the results was positive.
Waoc team have been conducting group & individual counselling to young girls especially those who are under 18 years & give Referral to the local health facilities in Shinyanga for more clinical support
From 10th -15th July Waoc team in corroboration with blood department team from Government Hospital Shinyanga conducted a safe blood donation Campaign through road show advertisement targeting men & women in Shinyanga and almost 1,319 people were reached and around six villages around Shinyanga Municipality were reached this included Men & Women and all were addressed our government Hospital blood department for other health procedures and donations collected a total of 54 bags of blood donation on Mining Exhibition & trade business done at Old Shinyanga Ward Butulwa area
On November 28th Ending December Waoc staff conducted a special training on youth girls at the Waoc office Shinyanga area nearby the Tanesco office at least 23 girls enjoyed the service and the groups were ready to discuss some cases on how to use smartphones for community mapping and establish one youth map chapter at Shinyanga Region some shared the effect of technology.
Waoc reached to one of orphanage center Buhangija area and giving some bags of rice & beans from their own contribution’s funds
