It is a call to promote Palliative Care in East Africa and I would like to be part of this long awaited effect from Tanzania. I am also inspired by other members in the Congress who day and night are working towards advocating for Palliative Care services’ availability and accessibility as a right to the patients and their families. I believe the Congress is an interdisciplinary stadium of Palliative Care think-tank in East Africa. The Congress has the potential to promote Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Palliative Care development that is necessary for Palliative Care development in East Africa.
